RICHARD BAKER is a guitarist best known for his tenuous links to the folk scene, although his repertoire includes many styles of jazz and he works when possible with free improvisors Eugene Chadbourne, Polly Bradfield, John Zorn, Bruce Ackley.
Since 1975 he has spent about half his time in Europe, and the publications to which he still contributes include Old Time Music (English), L’Ultimo Buskadero (Italian), and Mandolin World News (American).
